I have 'Confessions of an economic hitman' in my reading list, yet to purchase though. Looking forward to reading it actually.

Best crime thrillers I've ever read. Wish they got a go ahead for the next two English language movies now.

They're rebooting it with the director of Don't Breathe and making the trilogy in backwards order...

Doubt I'll ever love a book as much as I love TGWTDT. Fincher's film was a classic and Rooney Mara was * perfection as Lisbeth.

The reboot will be a disaster imo. Baffling when Fincher and Mara have been desperate to complete a trilogy.

You're kidding? That's a kick in the stones. Casting was absolutely on the ball for Finchers film

Side note: don't breathe was such a good movie.

Edit: just read that it's not as much a reboot as that it's starting from The Girl in The Spiders Web. The book wasn't even written by Steig Larsson's. So it's post-millenium trilogy.

Absolutely loved them too. Such a pity that Steig Larsson died just after finishing the trilogy. If you like these books have you read any John Connolly thrillers? If not you should try them I think you would like them.

I'm not familiar but I'll certainly have a wee look at his stuff. I've been eye balling the Jo Nesbo books recently due to the Larsson similarities and hype.

I think you will really like the John Connolly books. Thanks for the Jo Nesbo suggestion. I have not read anything of his yet so I will have to check him out as well.

Any time you read reviews for the Nesbo stuff there's always comments about the similarities to the Millennium trilogy.

This is a great read. Graphic, gruesome and full of twists.

    Just bought a boxing biography

    Becoming Holyfield a fighters journey
    https://www.amazon.co.uk/Becoming-H...1504644942&sr=8-2&keywords=becoming+holyfield

Decent read so far Holyfield from a poor black family in the deep south in America just his mum a christian and 9 weans him the 9th .He gets robbed out a fight because he was black and started training harder so he couldn't get robbed again and ends up with 75 kos in the amateurs which is unusual in the ams a high amount of kos .Ends up becoming the only boxer ever to become undisputed cruiser and heavyweight champ .

Finished Greg Bear's Vitals. I have liked some of his other books but this one was not one of his better efforts I must admit.
