Literally just ordered that this morning. Heard it's unreal and seen it was only £2 so thought I'd give it a bash for the holidays.

Everyone seems to rave about it.

    Last words.

Letters and statements of the leaders executed after the Easter Rising.

    A good read.

    Just finished Jaws.

This actually helped me understand more of the subplots which aren't fully fluffed out in the movie .

An easy read, and the writer does a good job describing the attacks - can be pretty brutal!

Yes I thought it was a good read. You should look into his Foundation series that is terrific.

Finished John Connilly's The Whisperers which is part of his Charlie Parker detective series. I liked it although not as much as some of his earlier ones.

Finished the second of Isaac Asimov's Robot series The Caves of Steel. Totally unrelated to the first one and being a who did it murder mystery within a science fiction format. Good fun read.

    Helter Skelter.

Just finished this. Phenomenal book about the Manson Family and the murders they committed.

Anyone slightly interested should give this a read. I thought Manson was just some gangster that people were scared of and threatened them to commit crimes.

Never knew they literally thought he was Jesus and he had brainwashed them into thinking the Great War(Helter Skelter) between blacks and whites was coming.

Some of the stuff they got up to and planned on doing was * mental.

Charismatic psychopath. Interesting to read about his brief friendship with Dennis Wilson of The Beach Boys.

Finally making a dent in my reading wishlist i managed to start Ready Player One this week.

For anyone who was born/grew up in the 80's this book will be up your street. it's riddled with references of pop culture from that decade.
