Hope to start in this one tonight. Interesting concept:Ex super heroes, must put aside their differences to battle hordes of zombies that overtook the world.

Reading A Storm of Swords, third book in the Song of Ice and Fire series, picked up Game of Thrones (book one) after watching the first few episodes of the tv show and I've not been able to put them down, cracking read.

I re-read '1984' once a year at least, brilliant book. A book I'm reading at the moment is 'A Dry White Season' by Andre Brink, really good so far I highly recommend it.

In the last 3 months I have read...

Stuart (A Life Backwards) - avoided it for a while as it suffered from "Curious Incident syndrome" but it was an excellent read, very easy to empathise with the Stuart and I found his relationship with Alexahisnder Masters was the making of this book, surprisingly uplifting in places and well worth a read.

Room - not nearly as wallowing as the blurb suggests it might be, found the child like narration of this story quite haunting.

Notes from a big Country (Bill Bryson), an old one of his which I discovered and it reminded me why I love his work. Just a series of newspaper columns about him moving back to the USA but laugh out loud funny in places and, as usual packs a punch, highly reccomend any of his books tbh.

I'm currently reading Ozzy Osbourne's biography. It's been fun so far.

I've read it, very good. If you've seen the film Hunger it is based on this book as far as I can tell.

Now a couple of chapters in to Guerilla Warfare by Che Guevara.

    Good man. Top read. :50:

The last book I finished was Billy McNeill's autobiography. Good read. * me off how much he was * about by the board. Ah well.

Currently, re-reading 'Tower's of Midnight', the most recent book in the Wheel of Time series. Traditional epic fantasy at it's finest.

Just finished American Psycho by Brett Easton Ellis . Starts of as a dull story about a 'totally GQ magazine' banker and his self obsessed consumerist lifestyle ,then about two thirds into the novel the murders start and the violence is the most vile in detail I have ever read ,the chapter with the rat FFS !!
Have moved on to Paul Austers New York Trilogy and so far enjoying it after fifty pages or so.
