The book of 5 rings isn't just about martial arts attitude, it's about attitude in general, you can apply it to everything in life, it really gives you a strong perspective on life, it really helps you out on so many levels if you read it.

so would agree with you and strongly recommend it

Kane and Abel - Prisoner of Birth : Both by big Jeffery Archer. Couldnt put them down, loads of twists n stuff

The Marabou Stork Nightmares - Crime : Both Irvine Welsh books. Two of his best. Also read Glue and then *. Glue first, introduces new characters and then * as deals with them as older guys and they interact with the Trainspotting characters.

The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists : Robert Tressel. Good read if you like the appeal of socialism as deals with some of the points in this book. Supposedly helped Labour win the election in 1945.

Wonderful story of Henry Sugar : Roald Dahl. Fantastic read.

Manchester United. He has written it in two volumes. The first goes from the 70's to the mid 80's while his second book describes the late 80's to 90's.

just finished reading a book called "I, Lucifer" by a guy called Glen Duncan. Id thoroughly recommend this to anyone, absolutely * hilarious! Basically its about Lucifer being given the chance by * to live as a human for a month in the shoes of a writer who was going to commit suicide. The patter in it is immense, well worth a read

The Sicilian by Mario Puzo is amazing, I like it even more than The Godfather (and that's one of my favorite books).

Tales of the Otori by Lian Hearn - A set of five books (A trilogy with a prequel and sequel) set in a fantasy version of ancient japan. Very enjoyable.

The Audacity of Hope - An incredible insight into the mind of Barack Obama.

Right now I am reading A History of Europe by Norman Davies. It's a long read to say the least but very interesting and enjoyable if you like history. Morgan Llwelyn's historical fiction is always a great read. I am a big Tim Pat Coogan fan as well.

Actually, I will read that Neil. I know very little about JFK so on your recommendation I'm going to pick it up. Is it very detailed?
