One of the least funny comedies I've seen. Definietly not to my taste.

Youre right that its popular, in that a lot of people only like it because its cool to like it. Im not a comic genius, doesnt mean i cant spot a pathetic excuse for a sitcom when i see one.

I love it, it's something I never thought I could enjoy watching but after watching it once I was hooked and haven't missed an episode since.

A pathetic excuse for a sitcom?

    Sweet jesus.

Is there any chance that if you don't like something you can just say 'I don't like it' rather than going on a rant about something you have clearly watched half an episode of?

    Answer me this then.

If you hate it so much, why would you watch enough that you could form such a hateful opinion of it?

I have watched some programmes in my time that I never enjoyed but I gave up after an episode at the most, certainly not enough to form a hateful opinion or even an opinion.

Which is why I wouldn't ever say I hate something, how can you hate something you haven't really watched? And why would you watch something you hate?

You don't need to sit and watch a series of it to know how pish it is. I've sat and watched a few episodes, couldn't tell you how many, and I've seen countless clips from it, but if every time you're flicking channels and it's on you hear the exact same studio audience laugh at LOL NERD REFERENCE then you can come to the conclusion that it is a terribly written show that is in the exact same vein as Two And A Half Men and all of Chuck Lorre's other pish. What makes me hate it is that infinitely funnier shows in America get cancelled because so many retards tune into this pish to hear LOL THEY ARE SOCIALLY AWKWARD LOL DUNGEONS & DRAGONS LOL SHELDON KNOCKS ON THE DOOR LOL every * week.

    This is what I mean.

You obviously haven't watched even 2 episodes of this show to form that opinion.

    It is clever sharp comedy.

This is from someone who enjoys The Thick of it, Curb, Seinfeld, Fraisier, Cheers, Scrubs...

I really * take the hump when people rail on the show when they clearly haven;t given it a chance.

That being said I love most comedies.

Except I have watched a few full episodes. There was a time when I thought "this can't possibly be as bad as I think it is and still get so much praise" so I decided to watch a few. Couldn't tell you how many to be precise because as I said it's the same * joke repeated ad nauseum so nothing stands out.

Its all opinion, i wont put down people for liking it, but one person's opinion of what is sharp comedy can apparently drastically differ from someone else's.

Spot on.....Arrested Development being the perfect example.

That's a proper comedy with well-thought out jokes and decent varied acting.

Not this complete and utter pish.

Am looking for a really funny comedy series, so I have two questions.

    1. On a scale from 1(*) to 10(funny *), how funny is this programme?
    2. Is this programme funnier/better than the US Office?

Ps, great pictures Padmill. I'll have some of that for the chugbank later:50:
