    Alright gang

What chances with me being ON the HCTS do I have of getting a SF ticket vs Hibs at Hampden?

How does it all work? Is there a ballot? etc

    Cheers
    SH

    Interesting one.

Can't remember the HCTS figure for this season off the top of my head but it was either 31k or 33k.

This will be the first year that it's massively higher than any Hampden allocation the club receive.

Anyone who was at the Dundee game will get. Not sure what route the club will go down after that. I'd hazard a guess that it'll be based on how long you've been a member of the HCTS?

Another option is to go down the away criteria route as per away league games and the Dundee game midweek. Pretty sure the t&c's of the HCTS state you get given priority for domestic semi finals and finals though, so this option is less likely IMO

I couldn't get tickets for Dundee off the club and this was my first year as a STH and HCTS member.....

I know mate. It was based on away attendance mostly last season and this season also. Can't remember exact criteria but it was pretty high

Sure. So if we are in limbo something has to be done to balance the chances for people who are STH who contractually expect to go to finals and obviously people who have loyally followed us everywhere for years

Being on HCTS and if you took tickets for the earlier rounds then a better chance you will get a semi ticket. It is a ballot though and pot luck. It'll be exactly the same for any other semi's or finals.

Need to check the criteria when announced on the website and see if you were allocated one. Celtic do not tell you anything. It's your responsibility to check online.

There will be spares offered on the day. There always is you just need to be down early.

Bolded part is a common mistake many make. No general ST holder is contractually guaranteed a semi or final ticket. Only ones guaranteed one are our own major sponsors / investors. No matter who we play the split always starts at 50% for both teams after SFA / Competition sponsors have their share.

So on average about 23,000 is what Celtic have to distribute to ST holders, CSC's in the Affiliation, Association and our own investors sponsors. We sometimes get more if the other club has made returns to the SFA. With demand so high i'd be very surprised if there is any general sale.

It will be a ballot for the people that didn't go to the Dundee game. I do think it is weird that they take into account previous seasons for away tickets but don't do it for cups & the HTCS

It should be fairly straightforward when tickets outstrip HCTS membership - member of HCTS and attendance at domestic away games this season, the way it used to always be (and in effect is taking into account previous season aways).

Then a ballot for HCTS members for any remaining.

Its been virtually impossible though this season to get away tickets in my own name.

Make sure you hay signed up to the ticket service online. When they announce the tickets for sale login & try & purchase a ticket. It will either let you or not

so you are saying give the fans who were lucky enough to get away tickets, guaranteed tickets. The people who have been on the HCTS for years are to be put in a ballot. Doesn't seem right

Mate this is to just check you got a ticket. You will either have to check on the online system or phone the ticket office up. The club doesn't tell the fans they were awarded a ticket anymore, it is upto you to check

I don't have the time to go over so just buy them online which does cost a bit extra with postage

Sure but how do you build up away credits? When they are based on the season before and are nigh on impossible to get going on this season.

Away tickets are like gold dust this season mate

I don't mind the away fans getting a semi final before somebody like me who can't afford to go to all away games. Aslong as they are on the HCTS as well
