right troops.....going up on saturday to watch it and looking for a couple of shouts for a boozer....five years since i've given up my ST and used to call in Tollbooth after every game but it's just not the same for me without Gerry Mcgregor singing! My mate mentioned St Vincent's Boston Bar but it seems to get slated a bit for running out, poor staffing, blah blah. I'm not a huge fan of Mcchuills either.....don't know why just never taken to the joint.

Favourite for me has to be Gallowgate....maybe Sary Head,67, Hoops something like that.

Regardless, i think we'll need to be up early as i think they'll pretty much all be rammed!!

opens at 8am,still does cause i stand it the busstop there evry morning, across from coronation cafe, bottom of gallowgate.always people in there every morning.used to be really cheap an all but no bought a pint in years from there.

ye can find some shifty characters in there, although doesnt matter what pub your in really in the nicer places your stuck with the pretentious or hipster, studenty type.the clientiele in mckinnons just dont give a * lol.

Just bought a flat in Yoker. Any recommendations for the local bars? I'm 50 ft from the station bar so within walking distance of a few which could get messy :giggle2:

Don't know about bars but if you're looking for a good haircut check out 'Hair by Les Porter'.
