Clearly Big Sammy followed by Commons, Matthews and Brown


I dont understand the people who voted for Ledley,Forster or Lustig

 

I`m miffed by the fact Commons is so far ahead.

I like Forster n he can be a game changer in big games BUT he can also change it in a bad way sometimes aswell. If he commanded his box more n his distribution was better. I said commons because he did great in Europe last season,has been a stand out in our last couple of games n that.

think people are baffled about him being top but its must be because he's been one of our big threats in games so far this season.

between Sammy, brown Forster n commons. I just said commons cuz he takes shots from outside the box and exited the crowds sometimes.

 

Ledley.

 

Samaras by far if he's on his game we win most of the time and he is the player we all look to in european games wednesday will be no different,following him Commons when he's not hitting 214 shots from timbucktoo,Lustig and Matthews,think Boerrigter might join the list if he's ever fit.

 

So am I.

Majorly overrated.

 

Some of his shots do indeed exit the crowd sometimes one severely damaged the mir space station,Against Karagandy I believee he hit his 1st shot as he left his garden before he boarded the plane as a signal of intent.

 

Kayal at his best is our best player, but that Kayal is gone, so Commons

 

Tough question. Different players are better at different things. In terms of ability and technique I'd say Commons and Samaras are miles ahead of any other outfield player we have. Izaguirre is technically good with the ball at his feet, and has fantastic composure. Mulgrew has a wand of a left foot. At times last season Forster's shot stopping was outstanding, however he hasn't been as good since his injury in January. Ambrose is actually technically good as well. In terms of consistency I'd say our best players are Lustig, Matthews and Ledley. Neither of the first two seem to have a bad game ever. I'd say both our right backs are better than most EPL teams best right backs. I voted Lustig.

 

If everyone was fully fit and on form, it would be Kayal

I would say it was Commons and Stokes currently

 

Definitely Samaras, he's a big game performer.


Followed by Commons, Lustig, Kayal and Forster.



How the * does Brown have 12 votes? He's nowhere near our BEST player.

 

Our best most consistant players are Forster, Lustig, Brown, Ledley and Commons.

Our best but not as consistant are Matthews, Izaguirre, Ambrose, Forrest, Kayal and Samaras.

After them we have very good SPL players who might not be highly valued like Zaluska, Mulgrew and Stokes.

Then we have good young players McGeouch, Twardzik, Rogic and Watt.

 

I wouldn't say Matthews isn't consistent, to be honest I can't recall him ever having a bad game

 

Matthews is very far from inconsistent.

 

Im not saying he is inconsistant, just not as consistantly at his best as the others.

Matthews has shown very good form a few times but hes never played at his peak level continuously for weeks in a row.

He has 6/10 performances then the odd 8/10.

Where as what I was talking about the consistant players they play at 7/10 level near enough all the time.

Honestly dont know, no one stands out. This thread just makes it more clear thagt we need to bring in some real quality. At a push id say brown or commons. At his best like others have said it would be kayal but he doesnt look like that player anymore.

 

Matthews usually is a 7/10 player or more i think about 80% of the time.
