Deep purple in the barrowland 1996. By far the tightest band ive ever seen. David gilmour at the albert hall 2016 what can i say this was just another level altogether, sound, visuals, music, everything. And Didn't realise just how powerfull a voice he actually had.

Couple of good years there but it's sadly been on the decline the last few years. I'm more of a rock than metal fan so only going GnR day when I've been every year since 2007. Feels kinda sad to not be spending time in what's become like a 2nd home. Seen so many amazing shows there.

Ps. I assume you know the full Aerosmith 2014 show's on youtube if you like them.

I know a few on here hate Bono and U2. I’m a fan but not a super fan. But The Popmart tour 1997 was mind blowing. Biggest concert ever in Belfast 70,000 in attendance and the whole city was buzzing. Bars and restaurants done the best trade night ever in the city. Show was first class and I think a lot of it was due to the public shaking off the years of uneventfulness in the city. The ceasefire changed going out.

But musically has to be the Stone Roses in Maysfield leisure centre. Was the one right before Glasgow green. In the autobiography Brown said they were the two best gigs the roses done at the time.
Saw original line up of The Specials and Primal Scream doing Screamadelica. All special gigs.

Have saw The Jam, queen, ac/dc, mondays and loads of other great bands but the best were The Cure at Glastonbury in the 90s, every song was like their studio records, wasn't even a big fan, still not but great live band.
Last year I got thrown out of a KT Tunstall concert, she was good live and Scottish which I didn't know til then

This might sound daft but the 2 best gigs i was at was eire og in glasgow, what a * night that was and the other was the wolfetones. " amazing nights full of the rebel songs back in the mid to late 90s. Non republic bands was a night in Belfast watching osais of my head on columbia's finest. Think i was only 21 at the time but what a night that was.
