[Cross Platform] Best game franchises.

I left out a shitload of choices cause there's too many, but pick "other" and post the one you want.

 

Picked Football Manager as it gave me the most hours of fun. Especially FM13 (2000+ hours with a brilliant Celtic save and one CM edition which one it was I'm not sure of, but took Leicester to the top of the world before they were hip )
Been playing this franchise since the second edition and only missed two if I remember right.

 

FM is a given, GTA is the game they tend to put a lot of time and effort into. EA and 2K are lazy * as far as Sports games go.

 

fallout, elder scrolls, batman arkham series, far cry, devil may cry, * of war.

Final Fantasy

 

Who’s voting for FIFA.

A game I’ve played since 2000, bought the game almost every year. Played over 1000 games in FIFA 17.

But it’s a shambles at the same time. Real love hate relationship.

FIFA, Football Manager and GTA have really been the main games I’ve played.

FIFA is the biggest bump in the history of gaming.

GTA would be my favourite....for me Rockstar can do no wrong.

 

Going by cult status, longevity, sales, scope of game etc etc...got to be gta.

Ff a close second for me.

 

Must be GTA although iv also always loved tomb raider games.

 

Me and my mates were huge Metal Gear heads when we were younger, played through the demo 100s of times was obsessed with the story, so disapointed how it all finished up with 5 but one of the most consistant series of games ever.

MGS2 graphics still hold up as amazing even by todays standard.

Im going Assassins Creed. Just love it, mind you the actual plot of the series is * and seems lost, I dont want it to go on too long.

I preferred Medal of Honor series more than COD.

GTA is a great one too.

FM obviously is a legendary series, although I have came away from it now, its just too indepth now and time consuming .

PES is my fav Sports arcade series.

 

The original mass effect trilogy

 

I would say GTA from the list. The games are all excellent and highly polished. I also - maybe unfairly - count Red Dead Redemption as a GTA which is an incredible game.

The Halflife series, i consider Counter Strike, Team Fortress and Portal part of that aswell. And when you add in the quality of the expansions and episodes nothing comes close to that consistency and standard apart from the Grand Theft Auto or Metal Gear franchise. Total War is one the best aswell even though a have not played one in years, those Total Warhammer games they are making these days look top notch.
