I always go to Bar67 and had very little trouble unless it was a Huns game where the whole of the GG is no holds barred!

Been in Bairds plenty of the years, nothing out of the ordinary. Some of the clientele may be of the 'stinkin' variety and the amount of lines took does rip the hole.

However I suppose the guy singing karaoke one night didn't deserve a stabbing if 'you don't hurry and get your * wee voice aff the stage'.

Better be open for Charlie and The Bhoys as I don't want Bar67 to be given the leftovers!

Sorry if this has already been posted ( just back from the game and couldn't see it). I Heard today Haggies has been closed. Was that due to financial reasons or down to the Police as well ?

Good to see it opening again. Have they stripped all the pictures inside?

Handy place to stop and break up the walk from the Gallowgate. Hope they will be having live bands on.:celt_2:

I liked it because they always had a band on (usually the Rising) so if you enjoy the Irish music it was a good place to go. This season it has been a bit quieter in there than previous years but that is the same pretty much everywhere.

I always did too. I have been in there during the day with my wife (who has NO interest in football whatsoever, and whenever I'm up with English mates, I tend to take them in there, and have always felt welcome and at home. Maybe I'm just used to drinking in rough boozers!

Same, ive never felt uneasy or anything in it, never knew people had much bother. I even seen a Hun in it watching the Dead V Aberdeen game when Naismith done his knee.

The place was a midden. If it re-opens then I hope they gut it and give it a makeover first.

I can't say I liked it that much.

I remember going in for a pint after a gig one night and some zommer wanted to kill me as I sentence I usefd featured the words "the people" in it.

Somehow that was enough to trigger a violent response.
