Came across this interesting young lady, Archie Jay goes by The Snake Charmer

Self-taught Indian Bagpiper who has created a really interesting Indian/Scottish Fusion

It really shouldn't work - but it does!!
Note the subtlety of the Indian vs traditional drums when the respective dancers are on!!

^ It's quite amazing how well the Indian Dance fits so well with the Bagpipe track
(Drowsy Maggie is in fact an Irish Reel)

Here she is in a montage with two other young female pipers, Chelsie Joy who is American and Jane Espie who is Scottish
(None of these ladies hurt to look at either :D)

Here is another of my favourite bagpipe/rock Fusion groups - Celtica
Their line-up changes every other year or so with the Lead Guitar player being the originator/band leader

Older incarnation of them here - this one of my favourites, more traditional - it's actually my Ring Tone :D
