Away tickets (domestic)

How do i purchase tickets for away games online? I know some will be out of bounds such as pittodrie/tynecastle/ibrokes but it wont even let me click on the tab, even though it says open to season ticket holders?

 

You need to register your ST first and get the account online. Once done you will be given a password and after that simply log into your account click buy tickets and that should be it.

Assuming you have never bought away tickets before you will only be able to buy those the site says are on general sale to ST holders.

 

I have my account up and running, but for instance when i click on inverness away tickets it wont let me progress further? Same for st johnstone a few weeks back.

 

It says open to: CT ST M.

When i click on either them it wont go any further

 

If you don't / didn't meet the qualifying criteria for those matches you won't be able to buy them.

EG Inverness away is attended 20 of last seasons domestic aways + St Johnstone from this season.

By attended it refers to Celtic having issued tickets in your name in person or online. Tickets from CSC's don't count when trying to buy your own.

Every away game attendance criteria is different so you need to check if you qualify for each game. But also check after the initial deadline has passed because if not taken up by other ST's then they often reduce the attendance requirement.

Not all of them need criteria the likes of killie and Dundee utd go straight to season ticket holders

 

The criteria is always on the website and can change closer to games if there are still a decent amount available so even if you don't initially meet the criteria its worthy checking nearer the fixture

You don't meet the criteria so you can't buy them

 

That is as far as you will get because of the criteria for that match. Only thing to do is keep an eye out on the website daily in case the criteria changes and you qualify.

Once it does you need to be quick.

Until they announce the tickets are on sale it's a guessing game. Criteria is never the same for each game in that what applied last season doesn't mean it will be the same this season.

St johnstone ticket office sell to celtic fans.

I managed hamilton away. Follow celticfctickets on twitter, usually anniunce any left overs to any STH.

 

Id rather get them through celtic, so that i start 'leveling up' my away games for the future, but if needs must il take them any way i can

 

Use ticket exchange only to buy / sell any match tickets.

Threads in that section need to be approved so PM a staff member is it doesn't appear after a few hours or so.

 

Whats the criteria for next season? They are reviewing it.

 

They announced they were reviewing the current system for away tickets/criteria in October time, however they have since came out and said that it will stay as is.

Obviously it has its flaws but in the main the loyal fans who have spent their hard cash attending away games over the last number of years deserve to be rewarded and prioritised.
