Do they share the plane or have it to themselves.

No each player boards a different plane.

Control like we can with possession.

There is no pressure to attack so pass risk should be low.

Pick them off with under committed, low risk attacks. If we don't get a clear chance, recycle possession.

They are slow at the back.

Just sit back and counter. Really is that simple, we aren't the ones needing 5 goals minimum.

I'd start Ajer and Hayes, but otherwise go with the same team. Score one and its done, if its not already.

Gut feeling Astana will score two quick goals and we'll all start * ourselves.

:56: Wouldn't be Celtic in Europe otherwise, but even we can't mess this up (When I say mess it up I don't mean lose the tie just make it more uncomfortable for ourselves when I think we'll pass them off the park).

I expect a comfortable night on the whole, they'll probably score though as their home record is decent and they are good from set pieces (Where imo we have been suspect at defending them under Brendan's tenure so far).

Different world going into this game, in comparison to last year. We have one similar issue being the centre of defence. However this is a much different and much improved team.

Will be interesting to see how Brendan sets us out, in particular in the centre of defence. Jozo essentially doesn't play on artificial surfaces, it would be a big gamble to play him given the situation. Aisde from the defence, we will be strong as possible. Brendan mentioned immediately after the 1st leg, that the aim was to win the 2nd leg as well. The team selection yesterday points towards that approach.

As other have suggested, we will probably see a game where we will look to control the game. I don't see us sitting, we just haven't got that attitude. I don't see them going gung-ho straight from kick-off, they've already had a wee taste of what can happen to them.

I don't see it being a nervy night or late afternoon depending on where you are.

Think it's imperative that we press them off the bat. Not saying we need to push for a goal, but I think sitting back is asking for trouble. Don't give them time on the ball and try to be conservative in possession. Let them tire themselves out and if we don't concede in the first 20, its over 100%.

A glorified friendly now but a good result is needed to keep the momentum going.

Still think we'll win only marginally though by a goal. Can't see us losing the game at least anyway.

    4 or 4.30 kick off?

I'm sure I've seen it mentioned as 4 most places.

Need to plan what time to sneak out of work :fear:
