That’s what happens, no footballer likes being nutmegged especially by a 17 year old, he probably just floored him but not actually tried to smash his leg.

Listen to Martin Compstons interview with Si Ferry, says he tried to nutmeg Veron in training for the soccer aid thing and almost got floored for it, folk are way overreacting.

The people going mental about this have probably never played a game of football in their lives.

He's looked impressive from what we have seen of him. No where near finished article and for the position he plays in, plenty ahead of him in the pecking order.

A season out on loan could be ideal - Dundee United to get the winning feeling and help them get promoted?
Comes back to us a more finished player when Arzani is gone and likely Sinclair as well ?

Talented player. Some fantastic touches and turns, and his finish was a cracker.

Isn't this lad Irish? Thought I heard the commentator say he was English.

He was outshone by the Dembele debut last season. He’s a talent.

Paddy Roberts did when he went back to city after his first season with us, he megged one of the senior pro's and took off towards the box, the senior pro chased after him and scythed both Paddy's legs from behind, not even pretending to go for the ball, as someone posted it happens at every club

Based on how much he (Broony) seems to really enjoy a battle in real games, I imagine (as others have said) no one will be more pleased for him than Broony if he does it again (although I'm sure that won't stop him crunching him again :giggle1:). And if it did "stifle his creativity" (which I doubt), then he is doesn't have the balls to be a creative player in the SPL (witness GMS).

He's going to get crunched regularly in the real world, especially as a creative, Celtic player in the SPL. He's also going to come up against much dirtier players than Broony in any league.

Would like to see this bhoy loaned out to get some first team experience.

However, sending him to a Scottish team in a lower league is pointless, be as well playing for our u20's. He needs to play a season abroad or down south like Henderson or McGregor.
