    Anybody done this before?

I've been watching The Chase for years and have thought of applying many times but never got around to it.

I've actually started my application now after getting tired of seeing daft folk passing on 'which country...?' questions :40:

Any tips or stories about your 15 minutes of fame?

I got a letter about 6/7 years ago personally addressed. It asked me to come on and participate and host a dinner for come dine with me. Didn't even reply and thank *. I never watched but I was told it was all weirdos.
They obviously had enough freaks, so they didn't need me.:67:

Aye I've done a few Google searches and it seems there are folk who go on shows constantly.

Could probably make some decent money from doing it if you're smart enough

Doesn't seem fair that the same people get asked on to multiple quiz shows. Auld Daphne the Egghead has been appearing on quizzes since the 1970s. There's a video on You Tube of her appearance on Winner Takes All, I think she was born old, even in the 1970s she looks ancient. She never won on Wiiner Takes All, she didn't get any wrong but only lost because she bottled it a bit and didn't bet enough.

I know a guy who was on 4 Square (remember that) and Wheel of Fortune. I heard he was terrible on both and he always refused to show us his Wheel of Fortune tape.
