    I'm off to Download Festival next weekend!

    Slipknot, Muse and KISS headlining! :icon_mrgreen:

    Can't wait, have missed the last 2 having been 3 years in a row before that, It's the best festival on the planet as far as I'm concerned.

    Going to Belladrum.

    Kaiser Chiefs, Manic Street Preachers and the Proclaimers headlining.

    Thinking about the Mundford and Sons festival in Aviemore. Two festivals the weekend after each other might not be possible though.

    Hate when these threads pop up cos I've been to TITP 7 times, 5 on the trot up until 2013. couldn't even stand to watch it on telly last year cos I couldn't make it. Even stopped listning to the radio till they stopped playing stuff from festivals. Going to a good festival beats a holiday for me

    I was at a very disappointing festival yesterday in George Square ( Freedom Square ) , the bands were crap , and there was a strangely heavy atmosphere caused by the number of fans who were obviously just knuckle dragging bouncers dressed as ( undercover ) fans .:56:

    Wanted to go to Wacken festival this year but it was too late to organise anything by the time i had enough cash to go.
    Maybe next year.

    This year there are 127 bands playing over 4 days

    Been twice, enjoyed it both times. It was always a good crowd, nowhere near as many arseholes compared to TITP.
