Tapas is always good, specially if there's a big group.

Pretty sure it was inside your £50 for 2 budget, including wine.

That might have been a 5pm offer though, can't remember...

Btw advance booking advised for La Tasca - we popped in on spec the other week, no joy.

    Tropiero on Argyle St http://www.tropeiro.co.uk/

Basically if you like meat you'll love the place. They have guys going round the tables with various meats on skewers. Their cocktails are lovely as well.

Best place I go for dinner is the Beer Hall. 2 for 1 pizzas and they are the best pizzas in glasgow and amazing beers. Fecking heaven, plus the waitresses are HOOOOOT!

Think it's £19 per person or therabouts. We spent £150 between 4 but we were in there for hours and tanking the cocktails :56:

La Tasca is my favourite place to eat in the toon, great atmosphere and you get to try loads of different things, service is great too and the food is delicious. Highly recommend it. Plus its not pricey.

That's not too bad really, specially if you're hammering cocktails :56:

I'm just remembering - if you're planning going out in the next week, August is Glasgow Dinearound month.

There's a whole raft of places all doing set menus at £15.95 a head - Guy's, Cafe Rogano, City Merchant, Piccolo Mondo - also Dhabba and Dakhin, if you like Indian. Plus you get a free whisky, and also a free glass of wine on a lot of the offers...

    http://www.graonline.co.uk/

Reckon I might go for one myself - I'd forgotten all about that...

Dinos is cracking ! Mussels in there are quality. I'd recommend Dinos pretty cheap and lovely as well. It's to the left of central station at the gordon st entrance. For indian i'd go to the koh-i-noor its between anderston and charing x very good night buffet, near the end of sauchiehall street.
