His contract was up and we had (probably still have) too many players on the books. It was an easy decision to let him leave. Good servant but I'm not sure if he ever really fulfilled his potential and I don't think he's the type of player Brendan would have liked anyway.

Ok then, when everyone is fit he wouldn't. Especially considering Roberts and Griffiths have to settle for a place on the bench because Sinclair, Dembele and Forrest have all been starting regularly these past few months (when available anyways).

 

Forrest isn't better than Stokes, he has never been better than Stokes. Stokes has scored about 87 goals for Celtic and made a barrowload of assists. What has Forrest done in comparison.

Forrest is a right winger in our system and an effective one at that this season.
