Honestly, it’s what I said above, the Neymar * sticks in some peoples craws. The other thing is others had made up their mind early and don’t want to admit it’s looking like they’re wrong just now.

Happens all the time, especially when it comes to guys like Ralston, I’ve brought him up already but the exact things that are getting labled at Ralston, technically limited, big haddy, just tries hard but he’s pish, is * I heard * say about Stephen McManus for years. Even when he was getting us through to the last 16 as two years in a row.

It was also aimed at Scott Brown for years, people seem to think just because some players have guts and love a tackle that, that is everything they are.

Do we need another right back? Of * course we do. Does Ralston deserve his place and impressed in almost every appearance this season? Yes, yes he has.

Aside from obviously the fact the boy has a heart and a set a baws that most modern defenders NEED these days, I've actually been impressed with his attacking - that cross for Sinclair on Saturday (the one he missed with his left peg I think) was * delicious - hard, low and direct right into the danger area.

There's a pler in this lad most definitely, and we'll only see it if he gets the same kind of opportunity as KT.

    Hail * Hail brah!

We should be championing young bloods coming through our youth system and supporting them, not knocking them down.

Aye, and he’s a goal threat. People are trying so hard to ignore the threat he’s caused almost every game. Even going back to PSG I’m pretty sure he was the only * that actually managed to skin one of their players :56:

You never said he "wasn't good enough", you said he was pish.

He isn't good enough for us as a first pick but he isn't pish. In fact I would go as far as to say he is a decent option as back up to a new RB.

Whether he would be happy playing second fiddle would be up to him.

I like ralston, if we managed to recruit an experienced RB this window and let ralston compete with him we could be sorted in that area for years.

You could also say the fact you would rather have a cowardly, uninterested, heart of a mouse Ntcham in our team ahead of an academy player giving 100% every time he plays says far more about you than it does me.

I'm not saying Ralston is the long term answer but he deserves to be playing on merit and I whole heartedly disagree that he is pish.

Theres nothing instinctual about anything he does. Everythings so laboured.

Hes done well in fairness to him since hes came in but really anything is an upgrade on lustig.
People still dont fully realise how bad and out of place lustig has been in our system for so long. Any full back that can track his man reasonably well and will overlap jamesy to leather in a few crosses is a significant upgrade on a guy that cant run, gets skinned by any half decent winger we come up against and cant get forward consistently.

He does get forward which I admire but aesthetically he’s just not my type of player to be honest. That said he deserves his place in the team until we sign someone else

Aesthetically? Like you don’t think he’s pretty enough? :56:

I don't think he's the answer to our rb problem but I'd 100% have him ahead of lustig.

I like him, technically he’s obviously not the best but his heart and work rate make up for it , at least domestically

Initially didn't think he was good enough for us, but he's really impresssed me this season.

If you’d prefer Lustig ahead of Ralston after recent performances, you may as well hand yersel into the polis just now

Has he been ruled out for tomorrow night?
Again I'm in a total minority I expect, but going up to CP tomorrow night I was probably most looking forward to seeing young Ralston hopefully getting a start. Nothing like seeing academy players get their chance.
Regardless if some fans think they're 'pish'

I'd prefer a traffic cone ahead of Lustig after recent performances.
