Another Treble

A positive thread amongst the panic that is going on in here.

I think we’ll win a treble again. No team is close to us in terms of quality in Scotland. The league will be won at a canter because the other teams are nowhere near good enough to be consistent across a season whereas we have the quality to do so.

I think the players have started the season in first gear. They need to go up a few gears which they are more than capable of doing. We are going through a rough patch which EVERY successful team in the world will go through.

A lot of what I am reading is about how the Huns and Hearts are going to do us to the title

Both teams have improved, undoubtedly, but the Huns are still absolutely gash. We seen that 3 weeks ago. They couldn’t get close to us. Hearts will hit their rough patch soon where they won’t be able to buy a win.

Our team are far superior. Our manager is far superior. We are double treble winners.

And to say the league will be won at a canter is pretty naive I think. I haven’t seen anything in this calendar year that makes me think we will stroll it

 

Probably because I think that our manager deserves and has earned our trust to do so.

Also because our players are far superior to any other teams.

It just a rough patch, for me. Nothing more and nothing less. No need for folk panicking about the league at this point IMO.

 

Marty is right though, it’s not just a rough patch. Our form has been terrible for months on end.

It runs deeper than just poor form. There’s clearly issues within the club.

 

In our current form I think this trophy could be a struggle. At least when the cup starts we may have a few new players in. This is more important than Europe for me as outdoing Rangers is what is important to me and Rangers won't do well in the Europa league.

You can also call the Huns gash all you want, but they are getting better results than us. They are going out and scoring, Celtic are not. They are gash, but so are we.

 

At this moment in time I'll settle for winning 3 games in a row. Do that repeatedly and we might win a treble. Until then it's pointless to even talk about it.

Think we'll win the double, potentially pick up form and win the league and Scottish cup, but not soon enough to win the league cup, which i would accept this season imo.

I thought we'd slip and and miss one of the cups last season our form was so patchy and problems wth injuries, not confident of it again but you never know, on paper we should still be favourites whoever we come up against.

 

If we beat St Hunstone on Wed we're two games away from a trophy.

I don't normally get too excited with the league cup but this season I'd love to win it, given the horrific early form we've had.

Here's a question: assuming we win on Wed (take nothing for granted anymore) would you like to play Sevco in the semis?

 

The less we see those mutants the better, for me. But if you’re asking if I’d be confident of a result against them then I would be.

 

He has earned our respect for previous. He is not earning our respect currently.
