I heard that interview and he did state that the huns were more than culpable calling us fenians, paedos etc. Whilst I can't stand the man he had a go at both sides.

    That's precisely the problem.

    There is no equivalence.

Our political views are entitled to be expressed.

The type of stuff you hear and Ibrox and other grounds - racial, sectarian and xenophobic views are not legitimate expression.

While there is a continuation of this myth that 'both sides are equal' or 'political views and sectarian views are the same' then the problem will never be dealt with.

In fact, that's why it still endures. We have people on Twitter whinging about Catholic schools ffs - that's Tommy Robinson-type language. Oh it's the Catholics' fault, the Muslims' fault. * off.

Ignoring his bias, his voice and manner of speaking, like he is speaking to a small child with learning disabilities, is infuriating. Is he a bit challenged himself?

    He’s a *.

I don't perceive both sides to be equal but as an individual I don't want to hear political or sectarian views at a football match. I'm one of a growing number and no doubt both sides will be equal in condemning me for my opinion :56:I don't know how many times I've seen these issues debated on here over the years so I will bow out now. :50:

These are not the same things though Jeannie and can't be discussed as such. You can't take politics out of football. It is impossible. The prices set for games is political. The issues around how a game is policed in any country ( not just Scotland) is Political. When folk say "take politics out of football" they mean take the politics I don't agree with out of football, which is of course political.

I wasn't. However I was pointing out you can't say Political/Sectarian as if they are the same thing as they clearly aren't.

In terms of which songs. I've seen Sean's question so I'll leave that for the two of you to discuss.

Anything with Orange * in it, is by definition Sectarian however accurate or inaccurate.

Any of the cheer up ones that mention orange * really.

Stating that they are orange is merely an observation of course, it may even be a fact in some cases, but it can be deemed sectarian because the orange order are essentially a sect.
