You’re obsessed with the level he plays at. You’re ignoring the point I’m making that the level he plays at has no correlation to his ability and potential.

We have got stronger. We’ve signed 4 and lost none.

He should not cost anything transfer wise as he is a free agent having come out of the US college system.

That is true. He was offered a contract by the Zombies but felt Celtic was a better fit for him now and going forward opportunity wise.

That is correct. Gutman may even be sent out to get games elsewhere for the rest of this season. He is not being signed with the idea he can come in and play this season.

He is coming from US College not the 4th tier and he was voted the best player in US college soccer last season so the lad has some pedigree. Certainly given he comes as a free agent worth a shot.

Not likely in fact he may well be sent out elsewhere to get some games before returning in the summer.

He is a free agent so he will not cost anything.

That is correct. He played for the Chicago Fire academy so they own his MLS rights and would have first refusal on him in terms of playing in MLS once he was done with college. But the Fire is not and has not been in a good state behind the scenes never mind how bad they have been on the field and Gutman will know that so I would imagine this was a factor in his decision to look elsewhere.

Haha I was just thinking the same myself. Aside from being crap on the field under the current ownership the Fire are arguably an even bigger * show off the field.

Not likely more likely he will be sent elsewhere in the short term to get games the rest of this season.

He's an outside back, who can also play inside. He can take players on or play a safe game defensively.
He's got goals in him and he sees a pass early. Technically he turns well on the ball and can play the ball first time for counter attacks. Cover for Tierney, and it looks like being a fine addition to one * of an attack minded squad.
