Don't rate him at all but we need to trust Rodgers. Don't know how much truth is in the rumour he's in Glasgow for a medical but Newcastle also interested in him and Liverpool are looking to offload him, Joe Allen, Mario Balotelli & Christian Benteke (going to Palace).

Watching Wisdom play just now on LTV and he looks ok so far. Quick, strong and good on the ball, passing (long) not so hot. Playing centre half on the right.

Now that we are needing a RB, I'd take Wisdom in a heartbeat. Versatile and can move the ball. Rodgers has history and we were linked earlier in the window so he could still rate him. Wouldn't be expensive either.

is he no a cantreback but can play leftback as well?

id rather we signed a proper rightback instead of trying to fit sqaure pegs in round holes.

TBF I can see where you'd get mixed up. He's built as a solid CB type but has decent pace and is good on the ball. From the highlights I've watched of him, excellent passer and good technical ability. Not sure how he is going forward but I'm sure he'd make a solid RB for us.

.@LFC defender Andre Wisdom latest to be linked with a move to @celticfc. Has been told he can leave. Rodgers gave him his debut.

I'll be majorly disappointed if we sign Wisdom.

That's according to the Sun on Sunday who say Celtic can now fund a move for the 23-year-old after securing a Champions League group stage spot.

Wisdom has struggled to push on at Liverpool since being handed his debut by Rodgers in 2012.

He has spent the last three seasons on loan at Derby, West Brom and Norwich and is on the periphery of Jurgen Klopp's plans for this campaign.
And The Sun claim Wisdom would be keen on a move to Celtic Park if Rodgers offered him a career lifeline.

Wisdom joined Liverpool as a 14-year-old in 2008 from Bradford and while he was highly-rated by Roy Hodgson and Kenny Dalglish, it was not until Rodgers was appointed at Anfield that he broke into the first-team squad.

He scored on his debut against Young Boys in the Europa League in September 2012 and went on to make 19 appearances for the Reds that season.

He's pacey and strong, good experience in the EPL. He'd waltz it in the league but we need someone that's ready for Europe. If Rodgers thinks he's the answer then who are we to say otherwise.

Pacey and strong. We have that covered with Janko.

Unfortunately neither of them are very good with the ball at their feet.

His main job is stopping attacks which janko is shocking at , with roberts in front of him then he doesnt have to worry about attacking !

Not completely writing off Janko but he hasn't impressed me at all this season. He's fast and strong, but he looks uncomfortable on the ball and dosn't have any positional sense defensively.

I've seen Wisdom a number of times for Liverpool and West Brom. He plays like a centre half who has been converted to full back.

On the ball I think that's down to confidence and that game in Israel has probably left him doubting his own ability big time. Defensively he does need to learn quick and comes with experience. It's a big step up to CL football even the qualifiers, not all young players can step up as quick as Tierney.

Fair enough, again it's all media talk anyway.
