Altior v Cyrname

Huge meeting on Saturday. Who do we think will come out on top?

Can't see past Altior myself. The horse is a machine. Should be an epic race though.

 

Altior is an unreal horse. Yer looking at starting prices of 1/10 and up sometimes never see that in horse racing.

I’m turning into an old * man, getting right into my horses

 

Most experts are saying this should have been kept for later in the calendar.

I'm going for a 1-2. Probably get evens if I'm lucky haha.

 

Apparently Cyrname has pulled out. Not even injured and might actually race in the same meet. Not against Altior though.

Not sure if it's true though, only one website saying this.

Noticed there’s only 3 runners

 

Altior beat and beat good.

Looked absolutely out of it with 2 to jump.

 

Cyrname 5/2 as well.

Gutted.

 

Interesting betting market in that race,as good as altior is he was racing further than he has before against a class horse who runs well at ascot,turns out Cyrname was a really generous price.

Seemed to me Altior was struggling in the going and on another day with better going the result might be different.

 

Altiors reputation preceded him.

Cyrname was definitely more suited to the course and conditions.

Altior visibly withered in the last half mile.

 

Just watched lostintranslation beat bristol de mai great race ,power was very good on lostintranslation will be intresting to see how this horse develops, possible gold cup horse.
