    Alexander Elliot Anderson Salmond.

Call me a tad presumptuous but I’m guessing he’s not a Tim.

It's been in the pipeline for ages - passed from civil Scottish Govt investigation to criminal Polis Scotland investigation. The Daily Ragord managed to get a swatch at one of the civil complaints a while back and then published the details. How they got to see it, and the decision they took to publish it, could impact on the trial

BEing sleazy and actually raping someone arent the same!

Politics is a dirty game and dont believe everything one reads. Im not saying this man is innocent but when politics/money is involved one has to sit back and think whos to gain from this. He could be a stinking pervert for all we know and if he is, he deserves the jail but untill there is hard evidence to prove this being who he is, im always skeptical of allegations such as them. I know how deceitful some * are out there trying to bring someone down whos been successful in life! See it everywhere, the jealously and lies towards people who have it in them to make something of themselves is shocking! But once dirty rotten * throw enough mud, some is going to stick because we live in a world where people love to gossip.

These whispers and allegations of impropriety have been around for years, as have the rumours of two of the more common addictions.

As someone said, politics is a dirty game and one hopes that the truth will see the light of day for either the alleged wrongdoer, Mr Salmond or, if it’s proven, the victims.

You would be surprised at what was considered playful banter or horseplay by men is now “illegal”. Equally there are a lot of men in powerful positions in any workplace that still think anything goes. Public office offences tended to be swept under the carpet. Look at how long any investigation of all of the shenanigans at Westminster has taken to see the light of day. The newspapers have known about all of that for years, but for whatever reason they suppressed it.

I’d like to know who else at the Scottish government had prior knowledge of these allegations and how long it has been hushed. The implications of that, if true, could have very serious consequences for the future of the existing sitting government and the future of one party in particular.
