I would ignore it in a heartbeat. Brexit, even a very favourable one, will see everyone worse off, simple as that.
A hard brexit, which seems possible, is frightening as the economy of the uk will take years, decades potentially, to recover from, if it ever truly does. So ignoring such a self inflicted choice like that, even if it was democratic, would not bother me in the slightest.
Normally I'm always in support of democracy however the outcome that the brexit vote is leading us towards makes me view/think the vote/outcome should be treated like this - When my Nephew and Niece stayed with me, when they were kids, they wanted to stay up late well past their bedtime - while they technically outvoted me - As I was the *, who knew better, they were ignored and sent to bed. Do you want to tell me I was wrong doing that ?

Everyone that voted in the referendum was an * though. So what democratic principles are you invoking in saying the democratic process sbould be ignored in this case ?

He doesn't really look like Jackie Chan though....unless you're saying East Asian's look similar..

See where I'm going with that. Can also be deemed racist and offensive..

No, as that's subjective, saying two different people look alike is not racist. Using a photo of an entire football team and saying they are African bag sellers is racist because it's basically saying Black people look all the same.

There are some adults on here that shouldn’t be let go to the shop on their own.

Aye I dare say that's what the kids thought as well tbf :56: We know it makes sense and was/is the right thing to do, just like sending the kids to bed was also right :86: :56:

That would be an improvement ... :56:

The referendum was advisory in the first place. Also, due to the outcry from leavers, Parliament, which is sovereign after all was not able to have a free vote amongst MP's. Finally, just because something is democratic that doesn't mean common sense should be ignored when the outcome will make everyone worse off.

Anyway Sugar is a * for posting that but that doesnt mean he is always a *. (so I stay on topic :giggle1:).

If I had said that people would have taken offence, so I didn't, but I agree :giggle1:

Wish my nephew had a strict bedtime, Auntie Marie is knackered by the time he falls asleep :56:

We have ' sleep overs' when I watch him overnight at my brothers, where instead of him going into his own to fall asleep, we open out the sofa bed about 6:30pm, stick on some cartoon or kids film and have a 'midnight feast' and when he eventually falls asleep,if I'm not in too much pain, I'll move him to his own bed. The bigger he gets the more difficult a task that's becoming.

Anyway, start being the Cool Uncle Tim-Time and let them stay up late, ya meanie :56:

I couldn't give 2 * about your opinion on Brexit and at no point asked you or anyone else for one, my point was aimed at Alan Sugars attitude towards it, the same goes for what I said about his support of Zionism.

I don't think you are as thick to have not worked that out so am just assuming you are fishing or just still sulking like a wain over a sore point I clearly brought up.

So you are now saying you are judge and jury over what is "sense"

Clearly being in the lofty position of moderator has gone to your head.

    Has that upset you something?

Do I have to subscribe to others opinions as some sort of acceptance

Jeez, simmer down ya mad man, for the record, I was wondering where you got the idea that Tim-Time was a moderator because he isn't .

Secondly, where the * did you get the idea that you need to conform to anyone's opinion to be accepted.....it's a * forum for people to air their opinions and discuss them....get off your frigging high horse. ...jeez!

Brexit was brought up because you also slated sugar for his stance on it, so it was YOU who brought it up, I disagree with your opinion and decided to express mine and told told you why. Now if you don't like that there is nothing I can do and to use a phrase I couldn't give 2 * either.

Aye, ok then ... sure thing, only problem is I aint a Mod :giggle1:
