I'm on Calipto in the first with Paddy Power. They are doing money back if your horse comes 2nd or 3rd.

If anyone's a member with Stan James email freebie@stanjames.com with your name, account name and number using promo code MIRROR or RECORD to get a free fiver. I emailed about 4 or 5 times using each of the promo codes and got two free fivers....

Had two winners and the other beat by a nose so far on today's Yankee bet.

    Silviniano Conti
    Diakaly
    Warne
    Claret Cloak

I've got my stake money back but if Claret Cloak comes in then it'll have been a nice afternoon's work.

Ach well. Bit sickening to pick out an 11/4 winner and a 4/1 winner and only walk away with £7.75 of profit but them's the breaks. I'd have been better off just doing £5 singles.

Rubbish day yesterday so no betting for me today other than putting £10 e/w on Balthazar King for the big one tomorrow.

Way too many people going for Balthazar King here. Don't jinx him! I saw him first.

Unreal the number of folk who are backing Balthazar King. I just had a look on another Celtic forum and loads of folk over there are backing it as well. I backed it last year but I think I'm going to give it a miss this year since everyone else is backing it.

Haven't made up my mind what I'm doing yet. I have my shortlist whittled down to 5, I'll pick two from them.

I'm going round in circles trying to pick my E/W bet so have just picked one to get it over with.

Double Seven - £10 to win
    Burton Port - £5 E/W

Got a feeling I should have picked Big Shu as my E/W shot but that's it done now.

I backed Balthazar King in January at 33/1 put a tenner e/way so I saw it first and since I put a 20 pound win on it at Cheltenham at 11/2 and it won so I put another 20 pound on it for the National last week at 25/1 think its 16/1 now
