Hi everyone how you all doing? Hope this is the right place to post this (I haven’t used a forum in years!) but I was just looking for a bit of advice.

I’ve always wanted to come up and experience the incredible atmosphere at Celtic Park for as long as I can remember, and this season I am finally going to do it.

I was just after some advice on some places to hang out before and after a game. I know the Celtic faithful have no problem with English fans (Sevco always try and say different!) but any advice for an Englishman’s first time in Glasgow.

    Hail Hail

Pre match you could try the Celtic Supporters Association club on London Road. Five minute walk from the stadium. CSA is where the Green Brigade meet pre match. Always the chance one of them can get you into the standing section.

Pubs along the Gallowgate are all Celtic shops also some busier than others again depending on who we are playing. 20 minute walk to stadium.

Post match depending on what game you are up for you might get lucky and find a decent singer on. Somewhere with Tony Bhoy Ray on is a good place to go. Can find out for you when and where he is singing once you know which game you will be up for.

Thanks mate, the CSA sounds great pre-match. Looking at the Hearts game on the 10th at the moment

Hearts is down for the 3rd not 10th.

Should be one of the better atmosphere games and when trying to get a ticket you want one near section 113 which is the Green Brigade area.

I come from near Bristol. Treat yourself and walk from Central station to Celtic Park. It's just one straight road. It's amazing to see the city get more and more green and Celticy as you walk towards the ground and through gallowgate. Give yourself a few hours to stop in some of the bars enroute.

Stopping off in Bridgeton is not advised. Just bodyswerve that one with scarf in jacket.

Not yourself mate. I was talking about Huns in Portsmouth. I heard from a Portsmouth guy they had been up to Ibrox, not him because he only followed Pompey.

Can’t be any worse than Henry mate!
Aaah gotcha. I think there is a link between the two clubs, not to sure how or why it started but there definitely is some sort of friendship
