True, I should have probably worded it slightly differently in that they should be a champions league team. Another team who are * over by the ridiculous qualifying system.

A baw hair from the Europa league final, yet here they are in the * end of nowhere at the start of June trying to negotiate through 4 qualifiers.

It would be interesting to see how they would get on in the champions league groups, I’d fancy them to do alright tbh.

 

Second half if we actually scored our chance could have one I actually think if the players played like they did against leipzig we would have won the game we made it hard for our selves more than them being unbeatable

An extra 2m just for qualifying next round more money ,wich wont even pay for the disco lights electricity bill , but btw looked awesome proper arena . enter the january window get the chequebook out.

 

Had this argument on here before about us not being able to compete financially with these teams, might have been after they scudded us in Austria. We should be able to get these guys before they move to bigger clubs, like Wanyama for example. There must be thousands of decent players out there, at smaller clubs that we could get cheap but instead we seem to want to buy spfl standard dross.

It not even those signings that infuriate me we all know their squad fillers or projects its the signing of commper or musonda the dorus de vries signing and all the top league signings we have tried for and missed its like a refusal to leave that market and cincentrate elsewhere

To be fair if it wasn' for a couple of brilliant stops in the first half it would have been at least 2-0 at half to them but no question his clanger was the dagger that killed us off for sure as despite their total dominance at only 1-0 we were always going to get some chances before the end which sure enough we did with Ajer missing that sitter before Ntcham pulled one back.

 

That's the same as saying if your granny had balls shed be your granda. The score was 2-1. That's it. No it's or buts! Any more ifs and we could be 3-0 up or 5-0 down.
