"2nd rate league and 2nd rate team!"

That is what my brother keeps telling me about Celtic. He is Irish, like myself. He supports Everton and reverently calls them "the toffees". I continually ask him, very politely, "what in fukk have Evertin pot dikk * got to do with you and me???? Aparently, he informs me, some Irish guy played with them 2 million years ago!! He get's upset, when I then politely point out that apart from Arsenal and to a lesser degree Man Utd, the average pass rate in the English Premier League from half way line to box is 2!! The Spanish League is 4, Serie A is 3, and Bundesliga 3,. My brother still desists in buying cheap flights with Ryanair to Barcelona and remains loyal to the delights of "the toffees" and their beautiful game!! My brother is no different to thousands of other sad Irish idiots who painfully travel to watch their idols like Chelsea, Leeds etc!!! Can someone please explain this psychological phenomenon?? For example " I come from Tallaght and I am * Leeds until I die"!!!

the SPL is *, but better than every nation our size leagues, including the Irish league. The Irish league would be better if people like your brother supported it, instead of slaggin off the SPL

if your bro cant see the Irish connection in supportin Celtic then thats his problem, he'll be looked upon as a plastic fan when he goes to those English grounds

because you've made some questionable posts, if you maybe read over and analyse them then you'll see what i mean!

 

I think they're definitley off the wall, tree, some of them. But don't see anything inherently offensive or hunnish about them myself. IMO.

I don't think any have been offensive. The way you express some is WOW.STRAIGHT-OUT-OF-THE-BLUE-IN-YOUR-FACE-PAM-CRASH-KAZOW, which some people might take as, you know, a wind up, or like sarcastic.

I don't. They just come right out and smack you one sometimes. Quite good style for getting noticed if I may say so.
