Hard fought result- in fairness to the sheep mcinnes had them very well prepared but last 15 mins showed the difference between us and them and perhaps similar to how we've faired in recent years against better teams in Europe. Really believe BR knows what's needed and confident he can source the players needed for Europe. What a day what a season HH bhoys

 

Would totally agree but sheep had chances early part of 2nd half that would have changed things- hopefully the board will give BR a few quid to spend. Honestly mate they were very respectful. Maybe it's only cause they won we gave them plenty of * about Eduardo and his diving antics. But yeah overall they were hi ble and respectful of what we've done this season. They did unbeaten too so they know how much of an achievement it is. Let's get ourselves an English team to really prove our point!

 

Incredible, no other words, from the start of the season where pundits were actually writing us off as having zero trophies near the end, til now, unbeaten, unbroken, unbowed.

The fitness level of our team was absolutely superb and a massive factor on picking up the cup.

Hands down that was the best performance domestically anyone has put in against us this season but the character and quality we had to deal with it was incredible and light years from some recent year games at Hampden where we have blown it when expected to win.

Not much else to say as an incredible season is over, wasn't there today but so glad I was present in person to see some of it

 

that is exactly how ave felt about our level e have gone to this season and im talking top 4/6 that big a jump since ronny .

You could see how hurt the Aberdeen players looked. They gave it everything and still came up short. They looked broken.

 

No matter how far ahead of your 2 " closest rivals ", you are to play both of them 6 times each twice at home twice away and twice at hampden and to win 11 of those matches and draw the most meaningless one ,score 30 and concede 7 is remarkable, laws of averages you'd think they'd sneak a win at least once
