    Do we have any say in whether Roberts goes to the U20 WC?

    Genuine question as I'm not sure if it's a case of you're called up, you're going or if we get any say in it or if maybe Man City get a say? In fact does Roberts? I'd imagine he'd want the chance to feature in a cup final at senior level rather than a youth tournament, regardless if it's the WC.

    As it is a FIFA recognised tournament i think the club has no say and if he was to play for Celtic both could be in trouble, could be wrong.

    When it's club versus country the club has no say in the matter.
    That's FIFA's and UEFA's rules
    It would be up to Patrick Roberts to ask his England manager if he could miss the match to play in the cup final.
