:47: We have recieved a 1000 swiss franc fine (£400) from fifa for our 'bottle throwing incident'. Yes even tho this is small , i am in disgust as a few years ago we had * and sik thrown on us from above and then milan were let off. Does any1 else think this is a slight injustice?

a bottle is thrown.. we deserve punished... i'd ask anyone who knows who the dumbass was that threw it and grass him up... make the * pay the fine..... if this was the huns we'd be looking at fines and bans.... we wont get a fair hearing at uefa... we aint a big enough club in their eyes.
two sets of rules for clubs... italy should have had a blanket ban on all their clubs for the next two years after their corruption problems... yet uefa allow the cheating * into their premier competition.... money talks... as does the mafioso.

Man United and Lille were both handed fines last week over incidents in the crowd. Lille were also done for their "walk off".Valencia & Inter were fined and other penalties for their fighting on the field. You're being paranoid i think

Were taking about a few bottles, not a mass brawl, crowd trouble etc

They should make the person who threw the bottle pay the fine.

Also, regarding the Milan incident a few years back, the same thing happens to Albion fans when we go to Wolves away as we have their scum bag fans above us and we are sitting ducks.

FIFA need to adress their own health and safety laws when incidents like the one a few years back happen rather than dishing out fines.

it only takes one bottle mate.... my dad was badly scarred back in the seventies when a drunk celtic fan threw a bottle at the corporation bus he was travelling on... bit fukt when yer own scars ye.

no violence should be accepted however mild.

I agree. On one hand I wasn't even aware of it until well after the tie. But if we are going to point out the failings of the fecking Nazis over the river, and complain about them, then we should set high standards for ourselves.

My old man has a big scar down his forehead too, from a half brick launched outside the ground in the early sixties.

We ARE better than TFOD, it's up to us to show the world that this is true and then people will have no choice but to stop lumping us in with the neandarthals.

How the * did they conclude that it was a Celtic fan who trew a bottle from the upper tier? I was there in the lower tier and the higher one was full of Milan fans aswell.

Surely to * the Huns will get a huge punishment!

Agreed no where near as severe a crime but I think this is shown with regards to the fine as its not severe. However a little incident it may be it but it is still that.

The bottle was thrown during extra time by someone about ten rows in front of me, there was a lot of shouting from the guys around me in the general direction saying that the person was an idiot (stonger words than that though) but none of us actually saw who it was, probably would have belted him one if we did.
