    I watched "No Country For old Men" last week, Multi award winning film, with a good cast BUT, what the * is the point of the film?:97:
    Thoughts?

    I thought it was a great movie. Really tense. The psycho in it was really unnerving.

    But the only person who wasn't scared of him was the sheriff because what he was afraid of was spending the rest of his days living there, just like his father before him, and before him.

    its a typical coen brothers serious movie. i loved it, superbly acted, great twists and some of the cinematography was stunning, brilliant film

    I may have mislead you slightly, I did enjoy it,it's just when it finished, i felt that i clearly had missed the point of the film.
    BTW, you are right about the psycho, he was creepy as *.

    I loved the scene in the petrol station.

    fantastic scene.

    i understand where you're coming from, there's not a huge amount of action in it but you have to appreciate it for what it is rather than what it isn't

    Good film keeps you gripped took me a while to understand it a bit better great performance from the actor that played the phyco,that nail gun does the damage.
