It is not free it is one of the 21 games you pay for as part of your season book.

Not a chance. The team that played on Sunday has more important matches coming up - Aberdeen in the SPL and Villareal in the Champions League.

Of course the atmosphere will be *. The stadium will be half empty, and anything less than a 3-0 win will be deemed as a bit of a disappointment for most fans.

We need to be careful. We seem to be getting knocked out of the Cups more and more at home in midweek.

I would mainly play the first team squad guys who need match practice. I wouldnt thow in too much youth or we will end up loosing. Would definately try and give Hutchinson half an hour too if the score is OK.

I'd say keep the confidence up and go for the same side roughly. We can't underestimate the opposition by playing a weaker side if we are going to take the domestic cups seriously. I know there was plenty of fans on TC last season really unhappy after the Hearts game.

To be honest ive always tfelt that we should 'do an arsenal' in this competition and give some of the young lads and reserves a chance to impress. In saying that, Livingston are no mugs and look pretty decent so shouldnt be underestimated. Id field

    ..........................Boruc

    Caddis.........Loovens...........McManus.............Wilson

    McGeady..........Crosas.............Brown...........Mizuno

    ...............Sammy...................Maloney

this happens all the time.....every one wants the whole bench to get a game...and when we get knocked out there is * to pay......start with our best 11 and when we have the game won rest players.....not the other way round.

It's 9 in 9 :50: although he is injured at the mo(although saw him running up the stairs in the livi end at the Dundee game on sat so he could be set for a surprise return!) so it will be callum elliott up top for us(dances a but graham norton-ish but 3 goals in 2 game!) I reckon we'll line up like this

    ----------------------Pierre Martini---------------------

    -Dave McKay--Chris Innes--James McPake--Jason Talbot-

    ----------------------Fernando Giarrizo-----------------

    -------------Murray Davidson-------Liam Fox------------

    -Anthony McParland-----------------------Joe Hammil---

    ---------------------Callum Elliott-----------------------

if any of you are in the slightest bit intersted i'll fill you in a bit on some of our lads that you may not have heard of:

Pierre Martini-French 'keeper signed from OGC Nice in the summer has some heart-in-mouth moments but none which have lead to anything has also pulled off some great saves and seems to be growing in confidence.

James McPake-Livi youth product and a VERY good centre back and captain with surprising speed

Jason Talbot-Signed from Port Vale, solid at the back and great when bursting forward

Fernando Giarrizo-Young lad just signed from Independiente Rivadavia in Argentina, a ball winner with some lovely passes although prone to shirt pulling/sly wee kicks

Murray Davidson-Great player who has also come up through the ranks and at 20 is the heartbeat of our midfield, chases everything and keeps the ball moving

the rest i assume you have heard of(McParland-ex-celtic,barnsley,wycombe. McKay-been kicking about scotlands top 2 leagues his whole career. Innes-ex Killie,Falkirk, Dundee Utd, Gretna. Fox-ex ICT. Hammil-ex Hearts, Leicester. Elliot-On loan from Hearts)

I will be surprised if the attendance is over 25,000 maybe even under 20,000.

Certainly I expect we will see a much changed side today with the likes of Mark Brown and Paul Caddis getting a run.

    I would go with:

    1. Mark Brown
    2. Hinckel
    3. O'Dea
    4. Caldwell
    5. Loovens

    6. Hartley
    7. Robson
    8. Caddis
    11. McGeady

    9. McDonald
    10. VOH

I would play Caldwell as he can't play at the weekend and give McManus the break. I would like to see McGeady and McDonald play as obviously they haven't played much in recent games.

Or he starts the game with the full XI, and Nakamura/McGeady/Samaras gets injured, then he is still a wee * in the eyes of some.

he cannot win either way imo, best to rest some players, its Livingston at the end of the day, Our fringe players should still be able to win comfortably, if not, then why are they at Celtic.

Exactly. Not to mention Caddis, Hinkel, Loovens, McDonald, O'Dea, and Robson (pending groin?) should all be desperate for a chance even against Livingston.
The one player I really think we should keep from Sunday no matter what, is Crosas. Keep getting him closer to being match fit with some game time.

As long as Maloney plays tonight we'll score a goal or two. He's been a great signing so far as has Sammy.

It will be good for Loovens to play as well. There's no point bringing in the likes of Donati as he will not feature all season. I'd much rather see young players like Paul Caddis, Marc Millar and Ben Hutchison if we're going to play some fringe players tonight.
