The fact is he keeps getting call ups to the national team whilest he's not getting a game at club level so that doesnt help when trying to shift him.

Wow Big Eck has a go at Celtic shocker...

Bobo is a "useless lump of wood" for honouring his contract fully??

He still trains every day,he's available for selection if chosen what else can he do??He hasn't gone running to the media either

If we want rid of him pay him what he's due..Or make up the difference between what Birmingham for example are willing to pay him and what he's on now..All of these offers he's supposedly getting and nobody has a clue what the details are but are happy to believe the Record,Evening Times and even Big fecking Eck..Jaysus wept

Celtic PLC are never short of putting their own spin on something when it suits them and that's no surprise.the only surprise is that people so readily believe it every time...I have a lot more respect for Balde then i do for the faceless bean counters who are quite happy to leak this kinda crap to the press

What's the difference between what Balde is doing and what Henrik did can someone explain to me?
Both have honoured their contracts fully and both were/are entitled to the loyalty payment..

For a starter, Henrik would NEVER have sat in the reserves / bench if offered first team football elsewhere as he would have had too much respect for himself and the club. His move to Helsingborgs is a prime example of what HE thinks about professional footballers - they should be PLAYING * FOOTBALL or else it's pointless. can you honestly imagine Henrik ever sitting, knowing he'd never get a game and refusing a move to reignite his career? Of course not.

Also, by the sounds of things all these "leaks" in the last couple of days have come from the Brum? Certainly not us as far as i can tell...

Aye cos the leaks have only started in the last few days have'nt they? And Celtic have issued denials about press reports in the past have'nt they?

And i don't want to use my imagination i'd like the facts, both have honoured their contract.both were/are entitled to the loyalty payments that were in the contracts they and the club signed in good faith..That is correct isn't it??

Balde has every right to stay put if he so pleases.

If he's still here come September 1, we can't have any complaints.

This thread started with a quote from Birmingham / Eck - if you want to comment on the other "leaks", i suggest you pass comment there where they originated.

Paragraph 2 - code for you knowing you're wrong and that Larsson wouldn't have done it. YOU asked for the difference, and i supplied it. The end.

100% agree with you; but similarities between him and Henrik are drivel.

This "No-one can say wrong against henrik, so we'll use him as a (faulty) example" malarkey is a load of crap that i've heard before.

Sorry what? Use of paragraphs is deemed an admission of being in the wrong?
    What are you taking about?
"The end" ffs fond of yourself aren't ye..

It doesn't matter if Henrik did it or didn't do it,that, we will never know the answer to..I'm asking if he is entitled to the loyalty payment his contract says he is due?

Bobo has every right to finish off the contract he signed with the club but i do agree that he has to lower his wage demands/expectations if he wants to play regular football, you can see that money is an important factor for him.

Some players love their football and would take a wage drop to play week in week out, others (including) bobo are happy to stay at a club and fight for his position and earn better wages even though gordon has already stated that hes not in his plans.

Id keep him to be honest, hes slightly clumsy but i rate him.

It's a comparison of contracts not players. Both have a back loaded contract.

ANY player is entitled to what is written in their contract; that is simplicity itself. Mentioning Larsson in the same breath as Balde, however, is something i find offensive. He has standards and ambition, balde does not.

A quick thought (before i guzzle the 18 pints of end-of-week tennents that are so rightfully mine) - he's wanting a 2 year contract....what kind of a deal do you think he'll get next year after another season on the bench? Not a very good one in comparison to what he would receive if he helped Brum get promoted. Also, he'll leave a villain, something which Henrik would never have allowed to happen to him.

I agree with your "contract" discussion COMPLETELY - i just think it's a sad end to a decent career at CP, and that in the long run it will prove to be an idiotic choice for his career.

As for "fond of myself" - some * has to be dude...
