I wonder if hibs would have him back, or maybe Aberdeen for cover if McKenna is going to be out for a while with his hamstring injury. Anywhere but here is what I'm saying.

Have him do cartwheels and other gymnastics at the side of the pitch flanked by hoopy and the female hoopy thing.

EFE AMBROSE could be set for a return to Scottish football, according to reports.

The Daily Mail claim his former employers Hibs could be set to battle it out with St Johnstone for his signature.

Ambrose has been without a club since departing Derby County at the end of last season.

The former Celtic star failed to make an appearance for the Rams’ top team after leaving the Hibees to join them

Ambrose, 31, has previously admitted he would never rule out a return to Scotland.

Speaking earlier this month, he said: “I am back in Nigeria now and I am just waiting to see what happens.

Iam training with my first club, Kaduna, and keeping myself fit. Hopefully in a few weeks I will know about my future.

“I watch a lot of Scottish football and keep updated on Celtic and Hibs.

I love Scotland and Scottish football, but right now I don’t know what the future holds.”

Tommy Wright is believed to be keen on adding an experienced centre-back to his ranks while a return to Easter Road would make Ambrose the first signing of the Jack Ross era.

Best player to grace the game since Maradona. Playing since 1982 and still young. Some signing. Probably gives them a shot at the top 6 title.

The thing was if he had cut out those crazy lapses of concentration he was actually a very good defender. He had some great games for us but you always knew there was a howler coming at some point. He was part of the defence that held Messi and co at bay as we beat Barca 2-1, you dont do that if you're a poor defender. He did well with Lenny at Hibs, should be a good signing for Livvy. Go on yersel Big Man!!

Good to see him back in Scottish football. A great defender, enjoyable to watch with some bomb scare moments. Best of luck to him.

I'm shocked he's at Livingston. That's a big signing for them. I hope they can afford it and not overspending again.

I'm also surprised that it's an 18 month deal and not a short term deal. There must be a get out clause.
