Gotta see him playing off another striker, he has pace and can run on to a ball. He is not a target man though to be lumping long balls to.

I thought he done okay today. There’s potential there to be a good Celtic player.

    However..

Assuming Edouard goes it’s a huge risk if Klimala is intended as the replacement for next season. Really if we want to continue our trajectory we should be signing a ready to go quality striker.

Looking for diamonds in the rough is fine but the days of living off of that as our no1 striker should be over.

Nothing special honestly...just like at Jagiellonia. Hope he tears up this league but can't see it atm.

First start in woeful conditions nice flick for browns goal, probably should've done better at the one on one but I've seen griffiths and sinclair miss loads of chances like that as well not going to write him off on that alone.

That's why I'm not looking too deep into the performance and I've also seen Griff, Eddie and even Moussa miss similar 1 v 1s

Should have buried that chance but think there is a player there.

Definitely think he would be better in a two up top though.

Aye next time he gets a game I hope it's next to Eddy as he'll have loads of space and be likely to be played clean in for a goal at some point..

JK on Patryk Klimala: "He's still settling in but he's done well. He's got good speed and he's a good size. On another day he would have scored his chance. He'll be fine long-term."

Difficult to come in and make an impact on those conditions..

Could have done with that chance hitting the net to get him going.

    Plenty time for him.

    He looked alright.

I think hes most definitely a project type but I'm not sure what else anyone expected.

For me, that's fine, but I really wanted us to come out of January with someone a bit more proven.

    Will need time.

Technically he’s pretty good for his age/experience level and has bags of pace.

I think he will do well once he is fully settled and integrated with the squad.

Hard to judge him on that game but had some nice touches and interplay plus got in good positions.

Not really the kinda game you want to make you first start in. Looked ok but I have high hopes for this guy when he gets going and off the mark.

One or two little passes that reminded me of Edouard's touch and link up. No saying he will be of Edouard's calibre or that he is his direct replacement.

Set up Brown for a goal. Should've scored his chance. Horrendous conditions.

Edouard didnt arrive here as a ready to go quality striker.

I do agree with what you're saying though...we probably need to look at another highly rated player from a top European side as its maybe less of a gamble than usual. A ready to go quality striker is something we wont be able to afford, however.
