I TOTally disagree about brown, he is the driving force on the pitch for us.

I wouldn’t have minded seeing Christie/McGregor/Rogic again but giving Callum a rest makes sense.

I don’t quite like neither Callum or Broony being on the pitch, I’d be tempted to do it against Clyde though. Last time Broony was dropped was Dunfermline though, think Lenny doesn’t want a repeat

I like theis team/bench. Hope the game goes in such a way Klimala gets the full 90, Shved gets 30-35 mins & Brown can be hooked after an hour.

    C'mon the hoops :shamrock:

Christie shows good signs of it, admittedly no one will equal Brown in the current squad, he's our version of Xavi or Inesta in that respect. But this is Clyde, we surely have enough leaders in that squad to overcome this one - I know the history the last time we played them of course.

That last part, I'd argue is the exact reason we should be trying to play without Brown - or both.
At some point Brown is not going to be here, I'd rather we developed the game so that we can play without him now, than come 18 months and we are finding out a harsh reality. Ntcham, Chrisitie in a midfield two should be fine for this game.

This is not a massive criticism of this line up though, it's a fair line up, more just a long term view to the squad.

If Brown's fit and happy to play, then he should play.

aye, they are worried about high winds so having someone sit on the bench for 90 minutes makes sense ;-)

Agree with you. I’ll take 2-0 win for the hoops. If we get a 3 goal advantage by HT then we should rest some of the first picks.

I’d argue that Ntcham will most likely lave the Celtic squad before Scott Brown, as will Elyounoussi and even the likes of Eddy will probably go before him. Doesn’t mean we shouldn’t utilise them.

Absolutely milking the 2006 result to death. Honestly bored of hearing about it now. Parading the team on the pitch and everything.
    Embarrassing.
