    Uncut Gems.

Not getting the hype. It feels more like its a case of Sandler being * for years, finally has an OK film and people lose their *. The film was alright, but it's not worth going out your way for.

    5/10

I thought Uncut Gems was an absolute * rabble of folk shouting over each other for 2 hours to try and build intensity.

Genuinely gave me a sore head, was alright apart from that. 5 or 6 out of 10 max for me.

'A Private War' (2018) - Really quite good,it's about the journalist Marie Colvin and her coverage of war zones during the later years of her career.

    It's on Netflix.

    Dolittle. Fun family film. 6/10.

Troop Zero. “In rural 1977 Georgia, a misfit girl dreams of life in outer space. When a national competition offers her a chance at her dream, to be recorded on NASA's Golden Record, she recruits a makeshift troop of Birdie Scouts, forging friendships that last a lifetime and beyond.” 7/10

I find it hard to watch films now a days because it doesn't look right, i would rather watch older films like armageddon, die hard, demolition man, running man, scream, field of dreams films were the actors had raw talent and made average film look better than they are. Now a days films feel to scripted if you get me.

    Suspiria (1977)

Been meaning to watch it for ages, with it being regarded as one of the best ever horrors. Thought it was okay. Started off really well then got a bit boring.

The score and visuals elevated it massively.

Buzzing for this winning the big awards last night.

Outrage from the racists makes it even better.

    Lady Bird & Booksmart

Two coming of age stories, with the latter being more of an out and out comedy. Both of them really enjoyable with great performances.

Loved both but Booksmart had a couple of brilliant scenes. (Panda, Uber, Pizza Guy). Thought the gay lassie was brilliant in it.

Interesting to what Olivia Wilde does next, thought it was some film for her directorial debut.

Aye Kaitlyn Dever was in Justified years ago. Good to see her sort of breaking out now in film. Was a cracking debut from Wilde.

Trying to get a link for Little Women now. Greta Gerwig is making a name for herself.
