Wasn't my pick after the rat left. And sometimes his subs are baffling. But what a legend Lenny is to Celtic

352 master stroke allows him to give more players in the squad games and rotate better keeping more players happy

The 2 up front is working a treat. Since the winter break Eddy has scored 6, Griff 4 with at least 1 scoring in all 6 games. 2 up front is not used as much these days but when you want to play aggressive attacking football it seems perfect.

It’s hard to argue against the 352 given the results we’ve had with it so far and the link up between Eddie and Griff, but we’ve definitely looked shaky defensively whilst using it.

Hopefully once Elhamed is back he will solidify us a bit coming in as the RCB.

Would stick with it in the league just now but think we should revert back to 4231 for Europe.

That's a given, some mistakes we would never have gotten away with in Europe. You can only really afford to do it when you know you are superior to the opposition because you can easily leave the flanks helpless after an attack. However it is good to know we have an alternative.

    Imo you can’t.

you are leaving it 3 vs 3 at the back.

however the counter is Rangers full backs bomb on and that would then leave us 2 vs 2 against them at the back!

I think you can play that formation against them, Frimpong or El Hamed and Taylor are defensive minded so would revert to 5 at the back.

The 352 allows us to man up in centre mid and match their narrow midfield, and we have all seen how we are going forward with this system.

I am hopefull that with the games leading up to the shitpit, provided we use this system, will give our defence time to become more tuned.

Familiarity will be key for our players going foward where i believe we will get stronger with this system.

This and with a few more games the back 3 should settle a bit more so 3-5-2 should also sort the orcs out as well.

We can't play the other formation as we have seen in the last two games they are running the midfield there .

Neil Lennon identified Ntcham as a player he wanted to play a big role in his Celtic team. He's really got Ntcham motivated and on form, great management from Neil Lennon once again.

Why do you think it’s been implemented in the first place?

We were doing perfectly fine against every other team in the league but were outplayed twice by a single team, the formation (whilst not entirely dependent) will have come about to counteract the zombies grip of the midfield battle. Man for man we’re miles ahead of them but we’ve not matched up properly in either the Cup Final or the December league fixture.
