To think some even mentioned Morelos in the same sentence as him.

Mr Morelos must've been delighted with that.

 

They might be more likely to look at Werner and Dembele the now since they already play in bigger Leagues probably even gamble on out of form types who havent cut it at the top like Morata, Martial and Jovic.

I think if we keep him next season he will only be better, his price will only go up and all the top teams will all be more desperate for a striker. Win, win, win situation.

 

Swap deal for Lewandowski or nothing.

 

What’s his celebration about?

 

Morelos is the kind of guy Newcastle always sign Mitrovic, Rondon, Joelinton kind of rough, bulky guy poor mans Diego Costas who seem promising and maybe a good goalscorer at a lower level and they don't cut it. Wouldn't be surprised if they replace that Joelinton with him as he's that style they always sign.

 

All the way till the new year they been bumping their gums at how great a goal scorer he is, forgetting that a large chunk of his goals early season came in the qualifiers, which dont count for *, and are against farmers and plumbers.

Morelos, where is he now in the league goals?

 

It looks as though the UEFA website hasn't been updated since the weekend, so with his 2 goals yesterday I'm guessing that's where he will be now

 

I know we get carried away and can be biased but he can play for loads of 'top tier' side's now or compete with the number one striker..

Real Madrid he could start now. Benzema is getting on but still class and Eddy is better/more suited to Madrid's style than Jovic..

I can't be arsed going through them all but you could do the above with plenty and he wouldn't be out of place..

 

Did PSG have a buy back clause on him ? Had it in my head they had something as part of his transfer.

Edouard is *, he will never cut it outside of Scotland, half his goals are wicked deflections and he can't take a freekick to save his *.

Edouard is better than Morelos, absolutely no doubting that. Hes a class above most the strikers in the EPL even

But you're talking pish. Morelos scored 4 goals against part timers. The rest of his goals came against Midtjylland(3), Legia (1), Feyenoord(2), Porto (2) and Young Boys (2). He has been impressive in Europe. No point in lying about it

 

The big boys will be coming for him this Summer.

 

Tbf mate, if Edouard had scored 14 in Europe this season then I wouldn’t be caring who he scored them against either.

Wish we’d just stop comparing the two.

They’re both good goalscorers but Edouard is clearly levels above him as an all-round player.

We know it. They know it. The football world knows it.

8 goals in the qualifiers is it? I'd say that's a large enough chunk from his overall tally. As far as I was aware, qualifying goals don't actually count in the final UEFA tally, nor will they count in the final season tally when we count up all the goals across domestic and Europe.

 

They * were even saying he’s scored more than Larsson in Europa but I’m pretty sure they have him still top of the chart
