We really need another cb and a winger, to finish the window with neither would be a disgrace.

NL: He [Soro] has good potential. He can drive, hold up the ball, pass the ball and break up play so I’m hoping he can bring all those attributes to the team."

NL: "If I don’t do anything else I’ll be happy. I have a great squad with real quality in it. We’ve got a couple of players in and we’ve streamlined the squad a little bit."

 

Aye that’s us by looks of it unless something dramatic happens.

 

Would have liked another center half but not bothered that much tbh.

A backup striker and backup midfielder isn’t near enough.

 

Think we needed a winger and centre back tbh but am like you it is what it is we go with what we have and hope it’s enough to get us over the line!

 

If Elhamed and Ely stay fit, we're ok. That's probably a big if though. Plus, with Griff and the new guy, Eddy can play on the left if absolutely needed.

Signing a CB and a winger would be brilliant. Not doing so isn't exactly a disaster though.

 

We’re short on wingers now considering Shved ain’t rated and Morgan and Sinclair have left the building. Strange considering he said we were after a winger the other day.

We also need a centre back.

The funds are blatantly there, there is no excuses for not strengthening.

Where are the experienced players he wanted?

10 days ago said he wanted 2 players of the elyounoussi type, clearly that has fallen through or he was just rabbiting on!

Love the guy, but he has been a nightmare when it comes to his statements regarding transfers.


Comes across that either he hasn't a clue - thus he probably aint making the signings. Or he is saying what he wants, but ends up someone isn't giving him it - considering the money is there, is shocking. More shocking considering his reasons for leaving the first time.

 

Don't think we should ever expect January windows to fulfil everything we want, contracts renew in summers and if we're to get the kind of CB quality we need then that's all about scouting and waiting till summer.

We're in decent enough shape for the run in.

 

Need a CB, Benko even on loan.

Hopefully Soro adds steel to midfield but not sure how much he'll play, do need to add some toughness to that area.

Would like a bit of experience.

Do not need any more widemen. Got too many, plenty we can put in and now more than ever feel JF would be best served there, not a RB for me, maybe wing back in a 352.

 

Lennon should just say nothing about transfers going forward.

Silence can be annoying but it’s worse when he tells us we are going to bring in experience, we are going to have 2 in before Dubai etc. and they statements amount to nothing.

Said he wanted to bring in experience to compliment our young talent but so far we have not improved our first team despite being in a title race and been out performed in the last 2 derbies.

I hope Soro and Kilmala are great signings but if I’m realistic I know they won’t get much game time this season as they are long term projects.
