Decent wee coming of age type film. Saoirse Ronan is brilliant in it. Interested to see Little Women after this with Gerwig directing. 8/10.

One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest

Classic. Love everything about it apart from maybe the ending. 9.9/10.

    Mary Queen of Scots

Interesting take and had Mary and Elizabeth meet which didn’t happen in real life. Really liked that angle and the scene was worth the wait. Saoirse Ronan and Margot Robbie were phenomenal in it. 7/10.

Loved the ending of cuckoo's nest. What a movie. The scene when Mac is doing the baseball commentary. So so good. Great cast as well.

Possibly my favourite ever movie, the bit where he finds out they are all in there voluntarily aswell, you can see him die a bit inside when they all confirm what Ratched said.

“High high in the hills , high in a pine tree bed.
She's tracing the wind with that old hand, counting the clouds with that old chant,
    Three geese in a flock
    one flew east
    one flew west
one flew over the cuckoo's nest”

Easily one of the greatest movies ever made. :50:

Definitely one of the best movies ever.

Went to see Bad Boys for Life last night.

Honestly? Thought it was great, definitely the best one out of the lot of them.

Will Smith was good in it, best film in a long time and wee Lawrence was brilliant anaw.

Great action decent story good characters.

Bad Boys For Life. Another pointless remake. Couldn’t wait for it to end. Such a predictable story and lame humour.

It’s brilliantly done, wasn’t sure at the start where it was going but Guy Ritchie builds it slow and very well done. Not a lot of action like previous gangster films of his but the casting is spot on, plenty laughs in it and definitely up there with his best.

    9/10

The Personal History of David Copperfield.

Based on the Dickens novel and it felt like it. Also felt like I was watching a play, rather than a film. It was enjoyable but slightly too long. Few good bits of humour dotted throughout. The acting felt really suited to the style of the story. 6.5/10.

Pretty much felt the same way. It's kind of what you would expect of Dickens' work through the eyes of Armando Iannucci, and it is decent and funny enough, even if it's personally not as good as some of his other work, such as The Death of Stalin or In the Loop.
