I've missed 3 weeks (maybe 2) thought it would be a disadvantage but it would appear to be an advantage. I'm going to put up two separate picks of six to catch up. If one or both all win it would be classed as a weekly winner.
Just think it would give a better reflection come the end of the season, because my picks have done well but I've never backed any of them as its not a market I like.

    Pick 1
    Brighton
    Chelsea
    Derby
    Preston
    Aberdeen
    Ayr

    Pick 2
    Rotherham
    Accrington S
    Flyde
    Yeovil
    Hearts
    Cove rangers

I've counted them all this week but next week just pick 6 it just makes it a lot easier with 6 picks, when you start to go over 6 picks it's just lotto tbh.

@Nasser no problem mate. Ps it is a lotto that’s why I’m so interested to see how it stands at the end of the season.
How I’ve picked my teams is to load up odds checker stick up uk football and set the overs unders prices then just picking teams based on prices as I try not to look at the teams names.
It’s the only way I bet now apart from on us.
Grab a btts coupon and pick 2 games from the uk leagues, about 13 teams and roll the dice :56:
Gambling is just a scam now with the bookmakers the crims.

I agree with a lot of that, betting is a mugs game on the whole. It's a huge challenge to beat the bookie with only a tiny percentage who make profit continually, but those that do make a profit are studying and looking at stats and really researching where they invest their money.

But In a game like this then of course on the most part it's lotto, but I like to think some effort has gone into picking the teams even if it's a 'feel' or some basic knowledge of football which we all have. Also with 6 picks; you need to get 4 right or 3 right if your betting at high odds so there is a thought process behind it even if it's taken minimal effort and time.

Most weeks due to lack of time I haven't put much effort in my actual picks and that shows as I'm right at the bottom :56:...but I when I have looked at teams that are good for over 2.5 I've done far better than the weeks where I just pick quickly with no real effort.

In a game like this one week can wipe you out, it's * difficult to pick 6 picks from just one day and make a profit at the end. I'd be shocked if even two of us have made a profit by the end I'm already surprised two us of are 1k in profit that's nuts, it's going to be interesting by the end how things look what profits and loss people have made.

@Nasser I've done alright in the past with in play markets but it takes up a lot of time, I get bored easily so lose interest even when winning.
The one thing that has really * me off lately is the fact that bookies have slashed the * out of the prices. Just look at first goal scorers and btts win markets the prices are shocking when they used to be OK.
I do two £10 bets at the weekend, one £10 on a mad acca of usually around 10 to 13 teams and the same acca but just 2+ match goals.
Just look at the prices and back it if the bookie fancies it, ie prices a btts game at 8/13 compared to the one on the docket that's 11/10.
The way I see it, if a bookie thinks it will happen then they're the ones I'd believe.
Also it has brought a bit of fun back to betting, as I like sitting ticking the teams off as they over 90mins. The btts bets return anywhere between 1k to 6k, not likely to come in, but think of it this way, tonight as an example there was 16 English and Scottish games and 9 where btts and usually the same at weekends. So it's not impossible to pull one out over a season or two.
Fs I'm rambling, main thing is, I'm enjoying having a wee bet again and that's the main thing.

@smokie899 i think with anything the more effort you put in the better results. The good thing about overs/unders btts is there are some great stats out there so it easy to get that information but obviously the bookies have that info as well and have priced it into the odds.

The only big parlays I do are often the free £1 offers the Ladbrokes and coral give out if I had bet365 I would do more £1 ones for fun as they have the cash out option which other sites can conveniently suddenly stop when the parlay is winning.

The last 4 years I've made profit by the end of the year but last year I only made a profit of just over 1 unit mainly because I started betting on a wide range of sports and following other people's bets.

I do well on MMA and boxing but I'd love to have the same success on football.

I think with this competition I think it would've been more better if we had just picked our best weekend bet just one bet that bet can be anything a parlay a straight bet of unders or overs maybe that's something we can do next season.

A bit of a * week because of the cup matches and I forgot to bet on the Rotherham game which of course won but anyhow this week's winner in 1st JJ81 profit of £183 and 2nd was Summer Time with a profit of £10, everyone else lost money.

Table looks much the same with St Pauli leading the pack
