    Oh well that is 1 piece of deadwood moved out from the squad .
    Good luck in he states .
    Hopefully we can move some more deadwood out from the squad and get some quality in to improve the first team , but I suspect I will be disappointed with this transfer window , hopefully I will be wrong.

    Deadwood is very harsh & wrong imho.

    I usually class deadwood as ones stealing a wage with zero return / playing time.

    Morgan has had a decent run & has been found to be short of our expectations & required standard & through no fault of his own he’s been put in the position by the manager & gave his best I believe.

    There have been many better examples of deadwood here over the years.

    Deadwood probably is a little harsh but Morgan was never going to be a regular in the team because the guy will never be good enough unfortunately. We have many players in the squad who will never be first team regulars because they are simply not good enough so it would be great to trim the squad and hopefully improve the first team quality.
    Yes we will always need squad players to cover for injuries etc but I would love to see the squad trimmed to reduce the amount of squad players who only get a game when we are on our * and decimated by injuries .

    Have a look at Giovinco’s career. Absolutely class player that intentionally spent his peak years in MLS.

    There’s more to life than playing football in Europe. The main one being lifestyle.

    He works hard and has a decent attitude. Will get more time on the ball and space will open up for him better. Reckon he will find his St Mirren form of being able to cut in central more and get a few goals.
