If we've made a mill off of Sinclair as well who would've been surplus and ran the next 6 month's down....then we've done well here..

 

Also got to applaud sinclair. Could easily ran that 6 months down and got a bigger sign on bonus. I certainly would have after his treatment.

Lewis Morgan has agreed to join David Beckham’s MLS side Inter Miami.

STV understands the finer details of the winger’s move from Celtic to the newly formed club are being discussed, with the player expected to undergo a medical.

Subject to Morgan receiving a visa, he will travel to Miami to complete the move.

Scotland international Lewis Morgan has agreed a deal with David Beckham’s Inter Miami

The Major League Soccer new boys have come to terms on a significant six-figure deal with Celtic for the wide man.


And the 23-year-old has been offered a lucrative, long-term contract to star Stateside.

Talks have gone well and Morgan is impressed with Inter Miami’s plans and he will now undergo a visa application.

Morgan has had spells at St Mirren and Sunderland and made it clear that if he was to leave Celtic then it would be on a permanent basis.

Celtic paid around £250,000 to sign Morgan from St Mirren in 2018 but he has found it hard to get a run at Parkhead

Now he looks set for a new challenge across the pod to join fellow Scottish internationalists Gary Mackay-Steven who is at New York City and Johnny Russell who is at Sporting Kansas City.

Inter have already appointed Diego Alonso as their head coach and he has been charged with building a side with young, up and coming talent from the United States, Europe and South America.


They have also snapped up young South Americans Matias Pellegrini and Julian Carranza.

Inter Miami will make their MLS bow when they travel to Dallas on the 22nd of February.

They then have away Los Angeles and DC United before they open their new Lockhart Stadium against Beckham’s old side LA Galaxy on the 14th March.

Going to MLS at the age of 23 is the type of decision you take when you know you are *, not going anywhere in football and need to start cashing on.

 

Will be glad when this is moved to the ex-player section.

Knew he was a dud from the start. Looked out of his depth against Aberdeen when he played for St Mirren. A Scottish Championship level player.

 

The move if it goes ahead makes sense form all sides. For us we move on a player who just has not made it at Celtic and some how make a bit of profit on the transfer fee. From Morgan's standpoint considering he came to us from St Mirren moving to MLS and a new club where he will be well paid and part of a brand new team so no doubt there will be lots of energy and excitement around the club makes sense for him and in a league where he can probably do well.

Tbf he will have a great life in the States. He's going to Miami. He'll still play at a decent level.

I can assure you it is not. I am terrible at football and was terrible at 23 and no * offered me a move to Miami at any point what so ever.
