Don't see this guy getting a game until he puts the work in & helps out defensively.

Pretty hard to help defensively from the stands.

Remember in pre season Lennon was specifically asked who had impressed him early on. He said that Shved has looked really good. Just adds to the mystery I guess.

True mate, there’s still plenty of maverick sort of players out there though, we just don’t hear about it cos they do their business on the pitch. Neymar for example, one of the highest paid players in the world, is apparently a notoriously * trainer

Aye, I agree. Lennon brought in Commons and you could argue he was like that but the game has even moved on so much since then as well.

We could maybe get away with someone not giving their all in the SPFL for certain games but when jumping up to Europe we'd get beat.

For me the biggest damage it causes is setting a dangerous precedent that it's okay not to give your all for Celtic.

I hate praising the rat but he brought in a relentless mindset for success and personal progression, guys like Armstrong and Boyata that people would've been glad to see the back of, grafted in and played their way back into the team.

The fact that Shved went to a huge club like Sevilla so young and bombed it due to lack of effort was a worrying sign but when he said he wasn't going to make the same mistake again I hoped it was true.

Could be BS but I heard that when he first rocked up at Lennoxtown (having signed 6 months prior and being loaned back) he didn't speak a word of English. Surely you would get even a weekly tutor for a few hours to give yourself the best chance to hit the ground running?

Where are folk getting lack of effort and attitude issues from?

From what I’ve heard he is homesick, which also ties in with the failed Sevilla move when he was younger. Heard nothing about him being poor in training or not trying.

Probably when Lennon said early in the season that he needs to up his tempo and work

Lennon said: "A little bit frustrated, he just needs to up his tempo and his work."

"It's still, again, an adaptation period for him. He's 21, in a new country and doesn't speak great English.

"So, we know we've got a good player on our hands and we'll see more of him as the season progresses."

Aye, so while he said it's a adaptation period, he also said he has to up his work, suggests he could do more. If he hasn't then it might explain things. But who knows.

A don’t care wit anyone says he’s got to be better than Morgan. In Scotland we’d rather play the better runner than the better footballer, backwards.

How good was moravcik at running back and defending

There’s still time petrov didn’t establish himself for over a year

Maybe be it’s a case of not allowing a mindset of not tracking back into the playing squad

Frustrating as * for the fans though that we sign exciting players and never get to see them ☹️
