For those who are in love.....
Terminate Bauer's loan and bring a right back in..

Elhamed can play a few positions..

Can't rely on Frimpong for the whole second half of the season....as it's likely Elhamed will break down again..

He looks amazing when he plays, was bewildering why no one had picked him up, but his injury record is really showing why.

And there I was getting slaughtered by some of you idiots when I claimed he was quite injury prone.

Great player, his quality genuinely shocked me but he's always out ffs.

Celtic have been dealt a fresh injury blow over key defender Hatem Abd Elhamed.

The Israeli international has been absent for the past two months after sustaining a groin injury in Rome when Celtic defeated Lazio to book their spot in the last 32 of the Europa League.

Elhamed worked through his rehabilitation to rejoin the group for training at their mid-season camp in Dubai.

However, the 28-year-old has suffered a setback in his comeback bid after manager Neil Lennon confirmed the stopper has a fresh issue.

The Celtic boss said: “Elhamed still has a bit of a groin problem. It’s not long term, but it could be a few weeks.

e sort of jolted his groin and got a reaction. It’s actually not the same injury. It’s lower down. Maybe a couple of weeks.

“He’s been brilliant for me and it’s a bit of a blow, but there’s nothing I can do about it. We have to be patient with it.”

Something is wrong when it comes to injuries in our players....

we are either signing stretcher cases without doing due diligence and/or our training and conditioning regimes are not working.

To be fair to the big lad I don't think he was fit when we signed him and then he gest thrown right in as we needed him badly and then he's constantly been battling injuries but I really think it all began from him not been fully fit but having to play right away. Doesn't change that this is a real blow all the same as I think he is a quality player and he brings size and physicality as well. I think though in the short term Frimpong in his place and Bauer as back up is good enough especially with O'Connor in the wings who can basically take Bauer's role most likely come the summer when Bauer goes back to Stoke.

Elhamed has been one of our biggest losses so far this season for me.

Ah right that bad I can't even think of that many games, wait. Maybe they've added all his accumulated minutes on park and just stuck in 4 :p

    As has been mentioned already.

There is something seriously * wrong behind the scenes at our club, the number of injuries happening to players is unacceptable.
